Employment, Communication, EconomyAbstract
The article analyzes Public Relations work in Brazil from 2014 to 2023, focusing on its spatial, social, and economic distribution and future trends. Methodologically, data from the Annual Social Information Report (RAIS) of the 27 federal units were used, applying techniques of temporal indexing, linear regression, forecasting, and concentration analysis. The results indicate employment growth and a projected increase through 2028, as well as geographic redistribution, a drop and subsequent stabilization in average remuneration. They also reveal inequalities: women earn less despite being the majority; and Black and Brown professionals (especially Black women) face the worst salary conditions.
