The phenomenon of visibility takes on new forms in contemporary times and becomes part of social dynamics that value the subject's existence based on their constant exposure. From a genealogical perspective, we analyze how the cannabis image integrates and drives the cycle of visibility poured into capital, which can be computed, measured, accumulated or even lost. Thus, in investigating the relationship between visibility and marijuana, we consider that the narratives about the herb seem to embody a kind of historical crossroads, mobilizing a significant complexity and showing us typically contemporary disjunctive processes.
